A Trip to the Museum

Last week our class visited the city museum. Inside, we saw objects from thousands of years ago. There were clay jars, old coins, and even ancient jewelry. A guide explained how people lived long before us. My favorite room was full of colorful masks used in old ceremonies. We were not allowed to touch anything, so we looked carefully. I learned that a museum keeps the memory of a whole culture safe.
