A New Neighbor

Last week, a new family moved into the apartment next to ours. On Saturday morning, the mother knocked on our door and gave us a plate of warm cookies. She said they had come from a small town in the north and did not know many people yet. My parents invited them for coffee, and soon the two families were talking like old friends. Their son is the same age as me, and we quickly discovered that we both love football. Now we play together in the park almost every afternoon.
