The Boy Who Built a Windmill

William grew up in a poor village in Malawi, where there was often not enough food or electricity. When he was fourteen, his family could no longer pay for school, so he began to read books in the small local library. In one book, he found a picture of a windmill and decided to build his own from old bicycle parts and pieces of metal. At first, people laughed at him, but soon his windmill was making electricity for his family's home. His story later inspired people all around the world.
