Bees are small insects, but they do a very important job. They fly from flower to flower to collect a sweet liquid called nectar. While they do this, yellow pollen sticks to their bodies. The bees carry the pollen to other flowers. This helps the plants make seeds and fruit. Bees also turn the nectar into honey inside their hive. Without bees, many plants could not grow well.
